I nuovi canali di aerazione consentono di ridurre il peso dell'impugnatura del 30% rispetto al sistema Shark già noto. La rete mesh del Shark Frame Strap è aderente e trasmette la forza verso il centro del bastone. La forma affusolata della punta dello Shark permette di agganciare il loop a occhi chiusi. Un naso aggiuntivo sull'impugnatura offre una seconda opzione di presa per una guida più precisa. Un ulteriore vantaggio si ottiene quando si tiene il bastone ripiegato nelle mani: il diametro sottile di 14/12 millimetri consente una tenuta e un trasporto sicuri nei passaggi in piano.
