L'Asics GT-1000 12 TR è la dodicesima edizione di questa estremamente popolare scarpa da stabilità.È la scarpa da stabilità più leggera nella gamma di scarpe da stabilità di Asics, ma offre allo stesso tempo un'ottima ammortizzazione solida che consente di correre molti chilometri in essa. Il GT-1000 12 presenta il sistema di stabilità LITETRUSS di Asics all'interno, che offre un supporto più agile rispetto alle edizioni precedenti della scarpa.
La familiare tecnologia GEL è ancora presente nel tallone, e Asics ha nuovamente incorporato la loro eccellente schiuma Flytefoam nella intersuola, offrendo un'esperienza morbida e confortevole. La tomaia è stata ridisegnata ed è più confortevole rispetto al passato.
Questa edizione TR è dotata di una suola più grossolana, che rende la scarpa adatta all'uso in terreni accidentati.
