Si tratta quindi uno strato intermedio veramente caldo da indossare sotto una giacca, ma basta aprire le zone di aerazione o indossarlo da solo come strato esterno per ottenere un capo che offre traspirabilità di qualità superiore. Inoltre, si asciuga più rapidamente dei pile tradizionali e risulta quindi ideale per qualsiasi attività outdoor.
